What is SIG Assured?

At the heart of our Return to Growth strategy is our specialist approach to customer service and support. As we continue to promote SIG UK as a business with specialist knowledge, and as part of industry due diligence and the requirements under the code for construction product information (CCPI), we have continued to develop the Compliance Tracking System (ICIX), designed to offer all our customers complete peace of mind when buying from us, that all products have been assessed against current regulatory requirements.

For a number of years, our team of compliance specialists in SIG Assured have been working in conjunction and supporting our suppliers to ensure that all of the products we stock meet essential regulatory compliance. This means we have access to  compliance documents for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACh), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), CE & UKCA Marking, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), Timber Regulations (EUTR & UKTR), Biocidal Products, Poisons and Explosive Precursors, Psychoactive Substances & Conflict Minerals.

In addition to product compliance, we assess our suppliers management systems, ethical, environmental and sustainability practices, and complete on site audits. This makes it possible to ensure that SIG only supply products and services of the highest standards.
